These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CureAbroad platform (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. The Service — marketplace, not provider

CureAbroad is an online marketplace that connects patients with independent clinics and medical practitioners. We facilitate discovery, verification, booking, and escrow-protected payments. CureAbroad is not a medical provider. We do not employ surgeons, operate clinics, diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or guarantee clinical outcomes. All medical services are provided directly to you by the independent clinic or practitioner you book.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service. By booking, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Intake assessments

Photo assessments and treatment plans provided through the Service are preliminary triage opinions from providers, not medical diagnoses or a guarantee of eligibility. A final treatment decision is made only by the treating provider after in-person evaluation. You are responsible for disclosing your full medical history and for seeking independent medical advice where appropriate.

4. Bookings and escrow

• • Pricing displayed on a listing is set by the provider and is itemized. The price locked at booking is binding on the provider.
• • Payments are held in milestone escrow and released in stages (Booking Lock, Clinic Check-In, Post-Op Sign-Off). Funds are only released to the provider when the corresponding milestone is confirmed.
• • If a milestone is not met, you may raise a dispute. CureAbroad may hold funds pending dispute resolution in accordance with its escrow policy.
• • Cancellation and refund entitlements are determined by the provider's cancellation policy displayed at booking and applicable law.

5. Provider obligations

Clinics and practitioners are solely responsible for the accuracy of their listings, the lawfulness of their practice, maintaining valid licensure and accreditation, and the quality and safety of the medical care they deliver. CureAbroad verifies accreditation and licensing at onboarding but does not continuously warrant a provider's ongoing compliance.

6. Marketplace disclaimer

CureAbroad acts as an intermediary. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CureAbroad disclaims any liability for the acts, omissions, or clinical outcomes of providers listed on the platform. Any dispute regarding the medical care itself is between you and the provider. CureAbroad's liability is limited to the fees it collects in connection with the relevant booking.

7. Reviews

Reviews must be truthful and based on a genuine, completed booking. We may remove reviews that are false, defamatory, or unrelated to a verified transaction. Providers may respond publicly but may not offer compensation in exchange for altered reviews.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including not submitting false health data, not attempting to circumvent escrow or platform fees, and not using the Service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
